App and service

This Privacy Policy applies to rdv.coffee, a web app available at https://rdv.coffee. rdv.coffee helps users create booking links connected to Google Calendar. Guests who receive a booking link can choose an available time, choose a meeting mode, enter booking details, and confirm.

Information we collect

When you use rdv.coffee, we collect the information needed to run booking links, including your name, email address, booking link slug, meeting preferences, selected availability rules, connected members, pending invitations, and session data.

Guests provide booking details such as name, email address, meeting mode, selected time, optional message, and physical meeting address when an in-person booking requires one.

We also collect technical data needed for security, debugging, analytics, and service operation, such as request metadata, cookie or local storage consent state, product events, and error data.

Google user data we access

If you connect Google Calendar, rdv.coffee requests only the Google permissions needed for scheduling: basic profile information through OpenID Connect, your email address, your calendar list, your free/busy availability, and permission to create Google Calendar events for confirmed bookings.

The Google user data we access may include your Google account name and email address, calendar IDs and calendar names, which calendars are selected for a booking link, free/busy time ranges for selected calendars, access and refresh tokens, and metadata for calendar events rdv.coffee creates.

When rdv.coffee checks availability, Google returns busy time ranges. rdv.coffee does not use those availability checks to read the titles, descriptions, locations, or attendees of unrelated Google Calendar events.

How we use Google data

rdv.coffee uses Google user data only to provide and improve the scheduling features users choose in the app. We use Google profile data to identify the connected account, calendar list data so you can choose which calendars affect a booking link, free/busy data to show available slots and avoid conflicts, and Google Calendar event access to create confirmed booking events.

For call bookings, rdv.coffee may ask Google Calendar to create Google Meet conference data. For in-person bookings, rdv.coffee may write the provided address into the Google Calendar event location. Booking events may include the host, guest, and accepted booking link members as attendees.

rdv.coffee does not sell Google user data, use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, interest-based ads, credit decisions, lending decisions, data brokerage, information resale, surveillance, or training AI models.

How we store and protect data

rdv.coffee stores connected account records, booking link settings, selected calendars, member and invitation records, booking records, and Google OAuth tokens. Google tokens are encrypted at rest in production and are sent only over HTTPS.

Availability is generated from selected calendar rules, Google free/busy responses, and active rdv.coffee bookings. Free/busy availability is used to compute slots and may be cached briefly to keep the app responsive. We use access controls, environment secrets, database protections, and operational logging to protect the service.

Sharing and disclosure

We share booking details with the people involved in the booking, including the host, guest, and accepted booking link members. We send booking data to Google Calendar when creating or updating a booking event.

We may disclose data to service providers that help operate rdv.coffee, such as hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, monitoring, and security providers. These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services to rdv.coffee.

We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect users and the service, to investigate abuse or security issues, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with appropriate user notice where required.

Retention and deletion

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide rdv.coffee, maintain booking history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure.

If you disconnect Google Calendar, rdv.coffee stops using that Google account for future availability checks and booking events. You can also revoke rdv.coffee access at any time from your Google Account permissions.

You can request deletion of your rdv.coffee data by contacting us. After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize data unless retention is required for legal, security, abuse prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.

Your choices and policy changes

You can choose which calendars are used for a booking link, remove calendar connections, leave booking links where you are a member, delete booking links you own, and revoke Google access from your Google Account.

If rdv.coffee changes how it accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will update this policy and notify users or ask for renewed consent when required before using Google user data in a new way.

Google API Services User Data Policy

rdv.coffee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
